Just a mild theatre mini-rant. I feel that receiving a complementary voucher or ticket to see a show is a kind and gracious gift. It has value. I constantly witness people arriving late, or not using the tickets they are GIVEN. If the people giving you the vouchers/tickets cant yell at you...I AM. Show some respect to the people giving you a gift. Arrive on time...buy a drink, or a 50/50 ticket and support the people/organization that is being gracious to you. TODAY 3 people let secured comp seats go to waste. That is unfair and a shame. It is disrespectful to the volunteer or creative team member offering you a chance to see their work. As a member of the theatre community...show some respect and treat comp seats as if you paid for them! Or, if I was the person hosting you...I would surely not be so kind again. End of rant...continue watching cats jump in boxes...
