Just a quick studio update for you guys since nothing has really happened since December for this page: First off Id like to announce that I will hopefully be performing at the Estevan Art Gallery during Transgender Awareness Week in March! I will be playing a selection from my discography as well as premiering a new song or two and performing a cover there. I will also be doing a human library thing there that allows people to basically interview me about my life, which is quite exciting to me. Check back here for updates on the time and date. Share this post with your friends and family and raise awareness for the Trans Awareness Week here in Estevan! Ive started a project with Grace Lynn, a trans lady in USA. The project doesnt really have a signature aesthetic or sound or whatever yet, but that will likely start solidifying once i get myself a Tri-bass from Misa Digital; the ability to sound similar to a bass guitar through samples while also being able to control synthesizers at the same time definitely creates a distinct noise in theory. Ive grabbed a copy of Strawberry Electric Bass and Guitar Rig 5 to replace Boobass and Hardcore, which were way outdated and sounded like literal farts through a really bad amp/cab setup. With that, the sound of the bass guitar has become much more realistic and less boring. The album art for the next California album is still in its pre-infancy stages, which is pretty much where California is right now. As the music congeals, so too will the art. The rough drafts will likely be posted here for that. Aside from that there isnt too much news to be said for the studio.
