Just a quick vent -- Its a sad day when musicians begin attacking one another for no reason other than frustrations over their own inadequacies. If you want the prize, WORK HARD, and take it! If your days of hard work and hustling are behind you, hang it up! Truth is, anything worth having takes hard work and persistence ~ thats where integrity is born...You work hard, you do whats right, you earn your reward! Expecting something for nothing while trying to ride a seemingly perpetual wave of an aged reputation isnt integrity. Reputations are built over years of hard work, however, years of lackadaisical efforts kills all one once worked so hard for. You cant ride the wave forever ;) . Better adjust your sails or continue to sink. I, for one, feel anyone who works hard for success, deserves the opportunity to be seen as an equal once theyve achieved it. Theres a new generation of entertainers in the region kicking ass and taking names....I could list them but there are too many to hold your attention! A few things are for sure however; I am proud of my roots, Im proud of where hard work has brought me, and I have a long way to go. Nothing comes easy and giving your all to building something you believe in, then standing behind it proudly in its success, should never be looked down upon. If Im passing you in the race, dont hate -- try harder...or......give up. But dont fault me for working hard! ;) Nothing but love for all of those I work hard for (friends, family and fans) ~ and zero energy for those who cant appreciate it! Cheers friends.
