Just a random rant. Yesterday, I was lumbering through the hallway at work to the elevator with four bags of food and two 12 packs of Diet Pepsi wearing ripped jeans and sneakers with one shoe lace untied. An older man in a suit opened the elevator door for me and we rode up to the same floor, went to the same office and I bid him adieu. Then I realized...holy crap, Im not a lady at all. This never bothered me before. Ive always been happy to be the loud, goofy chick who doesnt care what people think, but what happens in your 30s? Its actually making me kind of sad. Not like Im going to change, but itd be nice to feel like one of those dainty, feminine girls. Just for a little while. Maybe Ill wear a dress or something. But for now, Immunna go watch Captain America in my trashed jeans with the hubby. He deals with a lot.
