Just a small glimpse of my own story behind the tears of my eyes... If ONLY someone would listen to my SILENCE and there is ONE that knows my SILENCE - His name is JESUS... SILENCE even within our christian ways (which I am beginning to hate); also condemned me further into shame... as no one wanted to hear. Even when I was asked many times to attend a Womens group from the leader of that group to attend - I told this person No, it would be best I not come as I am not in a good state of mind and I know without a doubt that if I came I will be asked to leave... but through her insistence and reassurance for me to come I took a risk and I came... 4 weeks later I got a call and she asked me not to come back... my SILENCE was breaking and it was offensive for them to hear ... My husband is super protective of me and made an appointment with the Pastor of this church and the Pastor said if you dont like it, the way we do it, then leave... so in tears I left... thinking that I was done with church people - CHURCH has become over churched people - and shunning their own... a social event is what church is today... where everyone feels comfortable... I almost completely left CHURCH that day (not GOD) and it took me weeks to finally go to another church building but the tears still come - because What is the purpose of church? If CHURCH is not for the broken, the sinner, the person trapped, and yes even the Believer who has lived in SILENCE and needs healing... if CHURCH is not for this, then what truly is the true meaning of CHURCH - to become over churched and sit in the pew, and laugh and have a social comfortable club... well I can find this in the world, but if I am not welcome in church because of being BROKEN, then where do I go? Why would I want to bring a person that does not know JESUS in their life, why would I want them to attend a church building as this - WHY?
