Just a tad more on Madagascar This Madagascarophis colubrinus - TopicsExpress

Just a tad more on Madagascar This Madagascarophis colubrinus (Colubridae) fell into an empty swimming pool and the local boys teased it with a frog tied to a piece of string. Despite the confinement, the snake was in a feeding frenzy mode, chasing the frog around and around. They finally flicked it out of the pool and tossed the frog (less the string) in front of it. The snake gobbled it down, completely oblivious of my presence and the macro lens almost touching its head. This species is very common, quite approachable and very, very vicious when handled.
