Just an FYI for parents traveling with children in the car for many hours at a time: Last year I bought a complete season Gilligans Island to watch in the car on the way to the beach. Kids were skeptical at first, but it kept them completely quiet the WHOLE way there and back! This year I ordered the first season of I Dream of Jeannie, The Brady Bunch, The Munsters, and the next season of Gilligans Island (its actually the first season, as well, I got season 2 last summer, so were going backwards on that one!). Let me say: SUCCESS! We drove most of yesterday watching The Brady Bunch, and the boys were asking for it again this morning when we got in the truck to continue our journey!! The girls are tolerating it, pretending to act uninterested, but I think theyre watching when Im not looking! Who knew these kids would enjoy this more than all the movies weve spent a small fortune buying?!
