Profile Masters’ Degree in Education, ICT4D, Child Rights, or a related field; Knowledge of Education, schools, teachers, professional development; Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research; 5-years progressive experience working in post-conflict / fragile environments; Substantial Project Management experience with INGOs in ICT4D; Substantial experience in Research and Development in the development sector; Experience working with donors in an international humanitarian or development context; Experience working in South Sudan a plus; Excellent coordination skills; Social and communicative skills for supervising and coaching staff; Ability to work within a partnership approach and multiple stakeholders; Written and oral expressions skills for writing proposals and reporting; Excellent written and spoken English; Able to assess social/ political situations and able to act in a diplomatic way in delicate situations; Good analytical and problem solving skills. Job Location: Juba, South Sudan Contract: 13 months Starting date: August 2013 (until September 2014) The ICT4D Education Project Manager position is subject to funding. South Sudan is not a family posting; an expatriate is not allowed to bring a partner and/or children to South Sudan.
