Just an example of why the Bible is smarter than me. I remember reading in the Bible not to be anxious for things. When read it, I scratch my head because that didnt make sense to me, I felt like being anxious motivated me & pushed me to work harder. Years ago I decided that the Bible was smarter than me and if I came to something I didnt understand or agree with, I would submit. Instead of trying to fit the Bible into my head I would fit my head into the Bible. I said I would stop being anxious because that was Gods word. Now that Ive made that my cognitive thinking, I see the giant difference! Being anxious wrapped my feelings around things that should be logical instead of emotional! Being anxious pushed me to make decisions that werent well thought out! Being anxious also caused me to accept less than the best because I wanted to hurry up and make things happen! I couldnt be thorough and anxious or patient and anxious, but God knew that! Because I was willing to trust God instead of trying to understand Him then trust what I could understand my life is better & a chain has been broken! What do you think complete trust in Him will do for you!
