Just an observation. Way too often I see people define themselves in reference to external co-ordinates conveniently portrayed as the status quo, people are confused as to where their purpose lies, or even worse limit themselves to believing they are only capable or deserving of a certain lifestyle. In reality peoples true potential lies in there ability to recruit intrinsic forces we are all capable of utilising once we free ourselves of dogma projected to us by the current societal construct. We too easily identify ourselves with the practicality of a prefabricated ideology, the conventional lifestyle we are supposed to live yet we fail to realise that we dont HAVE to live that life if we dont want to. Another thing, so many people are measuring their self worth, happiness and success in life based on their financial situation. I mean I cant exactly blame them. I accept the fact that we live in a time that has an economy fuelled by materialistic tendencies encompassing the framework of consumerism, thats the essence of capitalism and by no means does the media help with its sensationalised and commercialised agenda , but hey thats the cultural narrative we are destined to achieve whilst accepting the current construct. Corporations prey on these subliminally caused foundations of materialism and ultimately they win and we lose. i encourage you to look beyond the superficial, dont allow commercial or predispositiond agenda to wrought conjectured information at you, it is limiting your potential and certainly dont let something/someone else define your subjective sense of happiness, success and self worth. Open mindedness is a lost and dying commodity that people will be much more exposed to once they are made aware of this social paradigm, from this predestined life journey where many live for the weekend, become complacent with safety and fail to take the risk required to chase their passions out of fear of failure. If you happen to acquire the open mindset then it is up to you to decifer whats logical and valuable to you from a subjective sense and desensitise yourself from the social conditioning which previously limited your perspective . If you dont build your own dream then you are simply building someone elses. Some are okay with that, some are not, we are all responsible to chose on our own accord. We are not here forever. Dont live your life making society happy, because whos going to live to make your life happy? No one. Only YOU can do that. If your passion, your purpose lies within the confines of the current construct and thats the conclusion you have come to once youve taken into account that there are other alternatives to the current system, then so be it, all credit to you and I wish you all the success in the world, you deserve it. At least you made an informed decision on YOUR terms, and I respect that. But if your simply allowing society to make your life choices for you, perhaps without realising it then maybe its time for you to figure out what it is YOU want. It wont be easy. Conformity breeds myopia. You might be laughed at, you might be mocked, you will definitely fail and its your responsibility to take that failure and translate it into applicable feedback, apply it and move forward, dont give up, dont settle, because in the end it will be worth it. Your time is limited, don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma, which is living the result of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other opinions drown your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition, they somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it.” Life can be much broader once you discover one simple fact: Everything around you that you call life was made up by people that were no smarter than you. And you can change it, you can influence it… Once you learn that, you’ll never be the same again.
