Just back from one of the best vacations of our lives – San Salvador – Columbus Island in the Bahamas. It was so relaxing and one of the most tranquil places I’ve ever been to. It was the perfect atmosphere to capture thoughts for my next album “Sometimes You Need A Country Road.” The Bahamas exude ideas for new tunes and this experience provided many. I can’t wait to start recording. On this trip I had the great pleasure of meeting the talented singer/songwriter/guitarist, Chris Michael. He provided the perfect blend of entertainment for the cocktail hour. The crowd loved him and he added yet another pleasurable nugget of enjoyment to their vacations. Chris is on his way to Nashville where he and has a lot of connections. He has a unique opportunity since he is not just another “want-to-be-singer.” He has a unique gimmick that could propel him into stardom. You he see, he is a country singer from Paris, France yet has the right amount of southern twang to make him unique. It seems that a producer in Nashville will be making a movie/documentary about his venture. Who knows, this just might be the tactic to single him out? We talked a lot about the music business and I’m going to send him a few tunes for him to check out. He’s a great guy and I’m happy to have met him before he becomes famous. This kind of reminded me of the time I spent about 4 hours chatting with the now famous George Benson. Life offers a lot of great experiences. Good Luck, Chris!
