Just before bed: clear up the kids mess. Just after getting up: clear up the cats mess (hat/scarf/glove basket been emptied, ball of wool round the breakfast bar legs, sweep up cat litter which Im certain they intentionally throw, straighten blinds that have had heads poked through them, put cushions where they should be, give the Chihuahua her toys back cos the cats put them in places she cant reach, wipe up the remnants of supper which obviously turned into a food fight etc etc). **sigh**
