Just came back from my 3rd adjustment of this week and while I was doing my rehab exercises I was watching a very interesting video the Dr. had on. It was another dr. talking about adrenal and how it affects our body when we dont eat the right things and choose the wrong type of exercises. He had my full attention but I jumped out of my seat when he said How many of you have heard about p90x? I told everyone in the office See the hat Im wearing? Thats what hes recommending . So funny! He was saying that when we do an elliptical or run on the treadmill etc yes we burn calories but not quite much the fat. Reason why a lot of people have a hard time losing the belly. He said that workouts like p90x and insanity had that constant wave of interval training that allows our body to burn calories and fat, losing weight faster. However nutrition is key. We need to increase the veggies, protein and good fats and a little bit of fruit. Dont overload in fruits as you will add natural sugars to your body. Very interesting! #learnedtoday #nicetoknow
