Just dont get it. Gold Coast top 10 suburbs achieved rental yields between 5.3 and 5.9%. The highest in Qld were Miles 11.2%, Charleville 9%, and Mt Morgan 8.6%. Here in paradise, I have my units on the market for $400,000 with a yield of 8.2%. They should have sold straight away at this price as the rents more than pay an interest only loan for the total amount. They may not be flash but they certainly fill a demand and are rarely empty.
