Just drove from Tahoe City to SLT, here is a photo from 4pm just after I passed the narrows at Emerald Bay. It was raining the whole way but, not very hard at all. Lots of fire crews and two news crews but, all I could see was the same smoke plume from earlier in the day, it was very smokey and dark. Its hard to see in the photo. The two Reno news stations (KRNV/KOLO) should have an update on the Cascade lake fire tonight, they were only crews there.
