Just ended a workshop training the wonderful women of Hershey in public speaking...along with my colleagues from the Athena Center for Leadership Studies at Barnard...at the Women of Hershey Conference..at the Hershey Lodge! A guy dressed as a giant Reeses bar is taking pictures with kids in the lobby...piles of chocolates everywhere, heaps of kisses...a chocolate martini -- and the inspiring workshop on voice with these cool women making new kids of conversations take place in the corporate world. Hershey is quite a story too as the founder gave away all his money at his wifes urging to found a school for orphans...the Hershey School - which now educates 20,000 kids from low income backgrounds very beautifully....leaves turning....a lovely community.
