Just felt like adding this morning that I dont feel the least different about Nicaragua or the Nicaraguan people as a result of yesterdays events. On the whole, Nicaraguans are wonderfully kind and considerate people. But this is a very poor country, and there are those who are desperate. I said a prayer for those guys last night and this morning, because I have so much to be grateful for in my life and clearly they do not (except maybe that now they have an Iphone they can sell for tall boys, because its very hot here and you need to stay hydrated.) Here I was with a pocket full of cash on my way to the market to buy groceries for the week. Thats a luxury down here, one I am constantly aware of. So I hope -- and pray -- that like the boys here at the school they find a better path in life, that at some point they get to experience unconditional love, and that no one else gets hurt while they search for it. Thank you all for your concern.
