Just finished- One lovely reversible wrap- wool and silk on a silk/poly. Its a large piece and took some considerable work to get the amount of ruching. Ruching is formed when the wool shrinks and its embedded fibres pull the fabric in. It is so lovely to watch this happening in the piece. The amount of ruching can be controlled by the amount of gentle rubbing that is done while the piece is wet. It can be continued even after the piece has dried.Do you like the texture?
