Just gathering views on the Pelican crossing on Wellington Road outside Poundstretcher (old TJ Hughes). I nearly got ran over there today with my girls in their pushchair. An irresponsible driver slowed down to stop and then when I stepped out, he put his foot down. I was very shook up to say the least and very annoyed too. Ive heard a lot of people mention near misses at this crossing. I have asked the local councillor if there is anything that can be done but does anybody else think it is dangerous/an accident waiting to happen?
