Just got back from seeing Fury! This is quite a different kind of war movie, one that isnt exactly a rose colored good vs. evil look at WWII. Instead, its a pretty grim, grey look at the war and what our soldiers had to go through. Honestly Im a bit conflicted about this movie. On the one, the action scenes were spectacular, making me quite excited for the Suicide Squad movie coming out in 2016! Also, great performances from Brad Pitt, Logan Lerman, and (as much as I hate to admit it) Shia LaBeouf. The problem I had with this movie was the pacing and character development. There were certain scenes that really ground this movie to a halt, making the great moments really stand out. Overall, I give this movie a 4/5. Its still a very well made film, just not entirely engaging.
