Just got back into civilization in the world of electronics, - TopicsExpress

Just got back into civilization in the world of electronics, briefly away from Facebook and cell phone service was a nice change. Had a great time at camp this year, we had an awesome group of kids who were respectful and kind to one another, no injuries and no melt downs. The Lord really blessed me to be able to be a part of Faith Baptist Church Visions of Faith camp this year. So many times I would find myself complaining about no cell phone service or the lack of sleep and even the constant bickering of 15 girls but then he quickly reminded me I have a four year old that is right in the midst of it all and she needs that more than any of them, she needs to grow up among kids like that and see the Godly examples those young girls can be on her life and how fun it is to serve the Lord and live your life for him every day. She needs to realize that there are things to being a Christian that are fun, exciting, and entertaining all while serving him by living a Godly life. So many times we/I look around and wonder if there are any young people in this world who actually love the Lord and are sold out to him and I believe I saw that more this week than I have in a very long time. I want my Lizzie to hang right in there with them, all the while, I will do my small part in helping in any way I can. Lizzie has some great young ladies to look up to around these parts and I am proud that they think enough of her to let her join and tag along. Let me shout out to all the camp counselors, what a great time we all had and the fun memories we got to make. Mrs. Susan Pressley, Mrs. Stephanie Wilson Salas, Mrs. Robin Sweat, Bro. Johnathan Head, Bro. Danny Anglin, Ronnie Milam, I think we can all say that this was a fun interesting week. Mrs. Joan N TG Young, Mrs. Jo Wilson Pemberton, Mrs. Marilyn Wilson and Mr. Marshal, Mrs. betty Brown, Mrs. Stacy Waldrop, Mrs, Ramona Diamond, Mrs. Sherry Cook, Bro. George Diamond, Bro. Kline, Bro. Bob, Bro. Jerry, they all did an awesome job in the kitchen. They are the hardest working ones the whole week. The meals they prepared and cleaned up afterwards were amazing. So many go unnoticed and over looked but God knows each one that took time to pray, took time to help, any thing you did for this camp was very much appreciated. Our Pastor and his family.......They worked countless hours leading up to camp getting things ready and then spent all week at camp helping chaperone, cleaning, praying, guiding, etc..... Deanna Buttrum and her family have been an amazing addition to Faith Baptist Church. Bro. Kevin buttrum and Mrs. Gail I publically thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the hard work and dedication you have put i, and the devotion to Gods people. I am sure I have missed mentioning some one in my post but if I did I did not do it on purpose I do apologize, Thanks for a great week everyone and I look forward to next year.
