Just got back this afternoon from a fantastic short road trip to Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and Chimayo, New Mexico (pron Chim-mai-OH). During the 4 day trip I shot nearly 1000 pictures, and Ill begin sharing some of them with you soon. But here are a few from lunch today on the way back home, at the fantastic Frontier on Central Avenue in Albuquerque (aka Route 66)... right across from the entrance to the UofNM. I ordered the Duke City green chile bacon cheeseburger... to which I added a generous helping of the fantastic green chile salsa available from the two large black pots at the end of the serving line. Absolutely the BEST I ever ate! Special thanks to my tour guide Gilbert H Scorse for giving me the benefit of his considerable experience in New Mexico. If youre looking for the real thing in Albuquerque... this is absolutely one of the best! Lots more photos from the trip will follow soon!
