Just got out of watching Maleficent. Aside from some forgivable lapses in plot-logic, this movie was simple and beautiful. Those scenes between her and her daughter were surprisingly poignant, and I admit that my stone cold heart actually shed a tear when Angelina realizes that she loves the daughter whom she had already cursed. AJ crying was too hard not to respond to. I think Angelina and Sarah Michelle Gellar are some of the best at crying onscreen. Tears are infectious when portrayed with such sincerity.
