Just got through watching August: Osage County and I LOVE Julia Roberts, Meryl Streep and the rest of this cast but this movie was HORRIBLE. It was aLOT of dysfunction without any closure, ending, etc. This would be like watching a typical day in any dysfunctional household and saying WHY did I just waste the last 2 hours watching these messed up people air their dirty laundry and bad mouth each other so horribly? Listen if youve had the displeasure of a dysfunctional family get together, replay that in your head and save yourself money.
