Just had to say, I never had a good childhood. It was horrible. Xena helped me get through it. As a child I made my first ever cosplay outfit for my barbie and dressed her as Xena. I made myself a Gabrielle and found an Argo and the adventures wed go on as my world around me collapsed.. Xena for me is more than a character. Its what she stands for. The tough but necessary choices in life. Strength. A moral code. Love and honor before all things. Hope. Xena was a light in the darkness for so many of us. I clung to her when all else seemed to fail me. Every day I find new strength from the ideals she stands for. I hope you all choose to share your story as well. May we all battle on!
