Just had to share this! Insirational and brave lady going through what she did... But the tiny change she made had a hugh impact! Thank you so much Leanne Spalding for sharing your amazing story! ❤ April 2010 I came off the pill, was pregnant by June but within 2wks I lost it, became pregnant again within 6-8weeks but sadly lost that too, the same thing happened another 2 times before the drs/hosp would agree to keep a close eye on me, same story every time, Id get preg within 8wks of losing each one which is super quick so we were obviously mega fertile. I became preg again for the 5th time & as soon as I found out, I was scanned so my first scan was at 5wks gestation, all seemed normal, a heartbeat cant be detected until about the 6th week so I went back at 6wk4days, still nothing :0( The heartbeat never developed so this time I had had a missed miscarriage (my body hadnt recognised it so the pregnancy was continuing as normal) this time I had to be admitted for medication to empty my uterus. Same again after this, I quickly got caught within 8/10wks & was scanned weekly, this time a heartbeat was detected at 6wks ;0) Overjoyed but all seemed way too good to be true, I was told that once a heartbeat had been detected, the chance of miscarriage was very slim, all was developing fine at 7wk, 8wk we could start to see the head shape forming at one end, by 9week the yolk was disappearing (which is a great sign) but at the 9wk3day scan those dreaded words.... sorry, there is no longer a heartbeat :0( My little promise had died..... WOW, it was like running into a brick wall at 100mile an hr!!! After this, we were finally sent for tests at St Marys, I remember the day very clearly as we were lectured about using every contraception to make sure we did not conceive whilst these tests were being carried out.... the tests were split throughout a couple of weeks.... chromosome counting, sperm tests, hormone levels, deficiencies & so on. I had started taking the premium about August 2011 & this first lot of tests were done Nov/Dec 2011. Anyway, we found out we were preg again by the end of Jan 2012 & I was an absolute wreck as you can imagine, kept getting told to stay calm & not to worry too much as it wouldnt do me any good but why would this pregnancy/baby be any different to all the others??? Scanned weekly again & tested for blood clotting in early pregnancy, this time I actually saw my little baby develop weekly on screen, it was amazing to say the least, I was discharged from clinic at 16week (this meant no more weekly scans & I would be treated like any other lady) but I couldnt cope, this wasnt fair as I was worrying myself to death so they agreed to continue scanning weekly until 25wk..... all was perfect, had a brilliant pregnancy & guess what??? My baby girl was born Sept 28th weighing a whopping 8lb3oz..... only in established labour for 40mins, no pain relief whatsoever & I was home with her within 4hrs :0) Id finally done it!!!!! Then....... it all happened again, I got caught again within 8months & all was find this time too ;0) I now have another little princess who was born Feb 2014 weighing a huuuuuge 9lb7oz, established labour for 20mins & zero pain relief again!!! I am finally a mummy to two little pink puddings under 2yr old & couldnt be happier, it all still seems so surreal..... Ill never ever know how/why but the only change in my life was JuicePlus prior & at the time of conception & throughout both pregnancies so this is all I can put it down to... We finally got our tests results in the post about a week after our first little girl was born & all was normal, they didnt find anything wrong with either of us & just put all 6 losses down to bad luck!!! Thats very hard to believe in my eyes....
