Just heard a line on “Lassie” that caught my attention. A guy who lost his sight was talking to Timmy. He said: “Blind people can hear a lot more than other folks. I guess that’s because when you can see, you get kinda lazy about listening.” I couldn’t help wonder how many times I have missed hearing God because I was too focused on seeing what was happening right before my eyes rather than patiently waiting and listening to see what He had to say about it. This is one to ponder for sure.
