Just in from FCPS: We have been monitoring the approaching weather since late last week and have been in regular contact with the National Weather Service. We are sensitive to concerns about students who walk to school or ride the bus, but based upon the information we have at this time, the temperatures and wind chills expected on January 8, 2015 do not warrant closing or delaying school. Since this decision is being based on forecasts, we will continue to monitor the weather overnight. Unless circumstances change and temperatures are dramatically lower, we anticipate school being in session on a regular schedule tomorrow. Subject to change by 5:30am, Natasha Jackson Neary!
