Just wanted to take a minute to give an update on Tim. He a little worse than he was on Sunday. The left side of his mouth is paralyzed(hopefully only temporarily) His left eye doesnt blink with the right eye. He can close his eye some but not normal. This causes his eye to burn all the time. Try holding your eyes open for as long as you can and you will understand. His vision is also blurry in that eye. he is forced to lay or sit in the living room all day with a Kleenex on his eye lid holding it shut. He has to tape it shut at night. He has a little trouble talking because he cant say words that require the use of his lips. The worse thing about this I think besides his physical discomfort is that he cannot buzz his lips so he cannot play his trumpet. For those of you who also play an instrument or just know Tim well know that the thought of him never playing his horn again is very heartbreaking. This is also hard for him because he loves what he does, Preaching and preaching requires a lot of reading and studying which is very hard to do if your eyes is blurry and burning. I have been worried about him because he never takes any time off and is constantly on call for whoever needs him so maybe this is just God telling him he needs to take a rest. Please pray that this condition is just temporary and that he is restored back to normal in every way. Pray that he does not get discouraged and that he keeps his eyes on God and his faith in Him.
