Just read that our brother Abdul-Fattah Al-Ghazzawi has had 9 members of his family martyred last night in Gaza. May Allah swt grant patience to all those affected and give the rank of shuhada to those killed. It puts into perspective that our small actions in UK like the demo we attended shouldnt make us feel satisfied. That we think weve done our bit. Demos are only a style to help develop the correct concepts within the ummah and to project a call to the wider Muslim world. We have to continue to work for this Khilafah state. It isnt a joke, a part time work, some added aspect to our deen but its essential to the preservation of the deen and protection of the blood of this ummah. Listen brothers this work isnt for one group or specific people its for the entirety of the ummah. We should all be calling for its establishment and give it the seriousness it deserves. Indeed only the imam is a shield, from which you fight behind and from which you defend yourself (sahih Muslim) - Sharif Abu Laith This has hit me as this brother is such a warm and welcoming friend, Allah grant him sabr and istiqamaa.
