Just returned from Slovakia, mostly in Ruzomberok (Google it). It was a nice three weeks of relaxation (Besenova mineral pools were amazing), reading the Oxford Book of American Short Stories (Saul Bellows Something to Remember Me By was one of my favorites. We took in a piano concerto at the Central European Classical Music Festival in Zilina after having a nice pasta dinner. Sightseeing was great, we managed to put about 1000 kms on Natalias Dads Fiat (Banska Bystrice, Poprad and the Tatra Mountains were definate highlights). We had a few really nice hikes and many great meals, mostly provided by Natalias Mother and Father. Even got in a couple sets of tennis on the red clay. Also spent a couple nice days in Bratislava with my Brother in law Ivan and as a result experienced great night life (I havent partied until 5am for a long time) and witnessed a three hour match he was playing at the Slovak National Curling Championships the following afternoon. Last but not least there were many precious moments with my youngest daughter Audrey who continues to grow and amaze. Many thanks to my lovely wife and her family and friends for making it such a great vacation..
