Just returned home from the Cleveland Clinic, where I saw Dr. Tom Anderson, an Orthopedic Surgeon who was the Browns Sports Medicine Doc for about 30 years. He has been treating me for my poor old pitching arm (rotator cuff) for several years and wanted to see the x-rays of my fractured pelvis. He told me that I had a clean, non displaced fracture of the pelvic bone, but with my record of clean living, (ahem) and good physical condition (yeah, he said that), I should be walking without crutches by next week. He also indicated that I should be able to golf and roller blade within a couple weeks. I forgot to ask him whether or not I would be able to play the accordion I bought at my moms auction!!
