Just saw an interesting movie My Old Lady with Kevin Klein, Maggie Smith and Kristin Scott Thomas..cbc.ca/news/arts/kevin-kline-and-maggie-smith-match-wits-in-my-old-lady-1.2785732 ...nice arthouse film...good for a post movie coffee & chat about life, inheritance, love, paying the price, exchange of value and seeing the value of love and redemption even in ones mature years...with a bit of French land law thrown in...viager where one buys title to property at a capital discount subject to life tenancy for the seller which the buyer has to pay a rent...so French...I liked all the hidden meanings woven into the tapestry of this quirky love story which illustrates the Cascando poem by Samuel Beckett If you do not love me I shall not be loved...and the tug of innocent love in Mozarts Don Giovanni Là ci darem la mano (Italian for There we will give each other our hands) https://youtube/watch?v=zEDnmGnYb6I
