Just seen something horrific out on my morning dog walk that needs telling, I was stopped on a path having a chat with a guy with a little terrier that we meet most mornings when a really old guy on an electric mobility scooter comes trundling along with a lovely little spaniel in tow, the little dog comes up to our dogs and is getting to know them, said hello to the guy on the scooter...nothing, completely blanked, he keep going and the poor wee dog get jerked hard on the neck as the lead gets tight, its then we realise the lead is tied to the back of the chair of the scooter, the next thing the dog is one side of my friend and the scooter the other and as the guy keeps going the line tightens and my friend who walks with a stick nearly gets closelined and has to scramble about as the little dog is dragged across the front of his legs again the scooter guy doesnt stop, so hes past us now and on his way and I think, pheeew hes gone and as I look at him the dog is cocking its leg to have a pee, next thing again the lead goes tight and the little dog looses its balance and falls on its side and is now being dragged along the pavement, I shout whooooaaahhh to no avail and the poor wee dog scrambles to his feet and they are away and around a corner................TO SAY IM MAD IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT!!!!!!
