This year we are planning an exploratory trip to the Wanganella banks, now I know theres been a few trips up there chasing the huge numbers of striped marlin which we are bound to do a bit of. But this trip is a little different, we have the marks for the spots where a 70kg Kingfish was once captured and also the marks for the spot where in one day a group caught 5 kings with the smallest being 38kg and the biggest 50 kg. This is a once in a lifetime experience, we aim to do a couple of days casting stickbaits to marlin and then off to the kingfish spot. Leaving from NZ and then will finish up in Norfolk Island.
