Just something I want to share, so others might be saved. No, it - TopicsExpress

Just something I want to share, so others might be saved. No, it is not about circumcision. My sister is 39. She was a healthy young woman, who was put under a lot of stress due to the divorce of her husband (who was diagnosed with paranoic schizophrenia, hence the divorce). She was a victim of domestic abuse (verbally and physically) and held EVERYTHING under the blanket, because she feared him so much. He managed to manipulate her enough so that she cut all ties to our family - and we, knowing what was going on, were not able to help. Shes estranged now. But due to the stress she was put under and the beatings she received (her husband grabbed the nape of her neck and squeezed painfully to teach her to see things his way) she developed a stroke. Shes in hospital, but six weeks in this condition... the damage is done, we will see how much repair is possible. My point is: If somebody is behaving strange, do a checkup and then hurry them to a stroke unit. Time is essential My sister is lucky that she is still alive - she ran around for six weeks with the stroke. And I can see now that it is not damage done and thats it. The symptoms increased. First it was only a slight slur in her speech - she is now aphasic. First it was only a little tremor in her hands - now she lost the ability to write. Take care of your beloved. A stroke is no fun. And takes a long time to recover :( stroke.org/site/PageServer?pagename=symp
