Just thinking about one of my greatest music heroes Quincy Jones and how so much of the way I think about music and music production comes from what I learned from studying his methods, which I managed to confirm when we had a lovely evening having dinner together a few years ago. From the time I first heard his music in 1974 until now in 2014, 40 years (thanks for correcting me Bob Mokarsky), he is still a very relevant musical guru to me.
