Just thought Id make a few of you cry before I go to bed. Hahahaha! Excerpt from Clever Little Book III ~ The UNDEAD!... “Of all the women Ive met...none of them seemed more perfect for me than you,” he said. “Tell me something Isabel...and tell me truly...will you change? Will the love you have for me now, fade with time?” It seemed to Kayfaas that two people could be the best of friends...until they got married. Then somehow they took the title of friend off of the relationship, trading it in for the title of owner. He went on, “Im so afraid that the way you are right now...will change. That Ill wake one morning to find that you too...are not the right one.” His question made Isabel cry all the more. Because she didnt want her answer to make him MORE afraid than he already was. She wanted to tell him that she was this perfect person. That shed never get angry and always be agreeable...but she couldnt. Isabel couldnt even believe that someone LIKE Kayfaas was in love with someone like HER. She didnt come from a well to do family. In fact they were actually poor. She didnt have a college degree. As intelligent as she was, shed always HATED school! Isabel had always said in her mind, If Im as intelligent as everyone SAYS I am, then I dont NEED a degree! She wasnt all prissy like other women, and she didnt care for high heeled shoes and make-up. Isabel didnt have patience for much of the antics that most men mistake for quality and character...but how she loved Kayfaas. For HER, the sun would always rise and set on HIS face...
