Just to clarify something for those that think that I am not Chosen in Life, or perhaps they do not believe that they are Chosen in their lives, for a certain purpose, or certain mission. (Which we all undoubtedly have) My earlier statement of being chosen was to do with my position on the mighty soap opera The Young and The Restless. I have made a statement regarding this subject. It was actually taken from a reply post to someone who believes being confident and spiritually enabled, (seeking self realization and enlightenment) is arrogance and ego. My dear Sharon, we are all chosen for a particular purpose. You take what you need, and leave the rest at the door. Surely you agree that your life has a greater purpose and meaning? Yes, you are chosen, whether its to be a mother, wife, educator, philanthropist, teacher, or just a soul that is willing to give to anyone who needs something from you. And, btw, I am one of the few, Chosen on the Young and the Restless. Since 1991, I have made my contribution, in such a way that only a handful have been able to do. Perhaps you do not remember the rich history of the show. Or, maybe you do, and don think that my role on the show has been that significant. As an African American man, I am the longest running (Black male) character on Daytime television. For that alone, I am Chosen. I am lucky and proud of that. Im sorry if you differ.
