Just to give a shoutout , thumbs up, & kudos to the person(s) who have established and maintained the canal # 2 polder united everyone site / page. Had I had the expertise, know how, and resources I surely would have had something along these lines going. I always thought it was necessary and important not only for fun memories ( because the old times rocks) but also as a source of inspiration to the young and upcoming knowing what we lived thru in the years of old times and yet we have been able to establish ourselves as upstanding citizens and function in big metropolitan cities and maybe anywhere in the world. With as late as 1960 there was no electricity , no telephone, no running water, indoor toilets, etc. and only hard work in the backdam and yet we made it. I always think of canal #2 polder as backdam country. So congratulations to us would be in order. And guys keep up the good work and build a fantastic site one that would be the envy of all.
