Just to stand still again and say thank you to those who established this website and keep it going, and, yes, ole Zimmerman who founded Facebook and also those clever chaps who invented the internet. Im too dumb to understand how it all works, but work it does, and its given me so much pleasure and fascination over the years. With its images of our youth, memories of our lost lands, benefits of the interaction, and contacts to our former comrades all over the world. And some interesting debates. I know its probably too addictive, Ive heard the warnings of snooping agencies, and Ive been told this or that is ooooh-so-secret and should rather be hidden and not talked about. But I also see the genuine joy and, yes, blessing a site like this brings to so many of us. And the importance of airing our history before we kick the bucket. So lets carry on, ek se. And thanks to all of you whove made this such a nice place to be. - Image of a damp-damaged photo, - symptomatic of our memories at this stage of our lives: Patchy, but in places so clear and dear.
