Just wanted to let anyone with children know that The New Inn on Badminton rd clearly do not want your custom if you have children. I politely asked if they would close the gate from the garden into the car park as that road is fast & lethal. The response was no as we need access to the fire point which i understand but they dont need to be so neglectful of there customers. I explained that child safely is very important & that they cannot seriously think that one gate means you cannot get to the fire assembly point. Gate would not be locked, just closed. When choosing an assembly point main points are exits clear of external obstructions, parked cars, waste bins, etc? They cant care that much as they allow staff to park in front of this gate. There response to this was they are not a crèche & you need to watch your children. I said I thought they were a family friendly pub to which they basically replied no we just a small play area (Obviously buy now I just wanted to pay & leave) every parent is going to watch there kids but it doesnt hurt to ask for a gate to be shut. I just pray no child ever runs out of this pub. If you go there please ask too for them to close the gate or just avoid them like I will.
