Just wanted to re-post this Happy wednesday good people. I wanted to let you know that tonight will be the final weekly acoustic open mic @ Tribes Alehouse & Grill before we take an indefinite hiatus. There are amazing things happening @ Tribes. Many of you know that they will be opening a brewery in the near future in Mokena & the remodeling has already begun. The logistics of the remodel along w/ a few other great changes that are happening have made it difficult for us to carry on w/ our weekly gatherings beyond this point. The hiatus is indefinite but open ended & certainly there is always the possibility that well pick it back up after it all settles down again. I want to personally thank everyone @ Tribes & especially Niall & the staff for putting up w/ us & supporting what we do week in & week out. What started as a 6 week experiment has turned into over 3 1/2 years of great music & camaraderie & I feel very lucky to have been a part of it all! Its been fantastic to have met some amazingly talented folks over the years there & to be able to have watched it all grow has been an honor. Thank you to everyone who has continued to come out & share songs & pints w/ us! I hope you can stop by tonight & join me @ Tribes...I may even start this one on time HA!
