Just watched DESHA. OMG !!! What a film !!! Those bangla movie haters should watch DESHA to understand our deshi talent can make wonders. This is one of the rare film coming across in this year who entertain u..at the same time enlighten u...! This is one movie which has class, at the same time mass appeal. Loveee almost every department of DESHA, from rich production value to sharp direction to crisp editing to soothing, patriotic songs to choreography (specially love duet: kona and kishores song) to makeup to costume to art direction to DOP. Loopholes? Length couldve been bit shorter. Penultimate sequence couldve been better. I have few observation about few things. But besides these minor sore point, debutant director Saikat Nasir excels in big way !!! This issss my kind of film..massy and classy. Yes there is no item song, streotype villain, love at first sight or love and lost type story...but director tells the unique concept in super smart way. Thanks producer Jazz multimedia to find out this raw talent. Film industry should promote this type of new talent. Actors are the major highpoint of the enterprise. TARIQ ANAM KHAN is genius, powerful actor, we know. But it was our failure we didnt use his talent in commercial film before. But in DESHA, u cant take your eyes away from his towering persona, powerful acting. Award worthy performance. Mahiya Mahi is no1 actress right now, we know. But in DESHA, she proves she can excels and stand in crowd. Brilliant performance in hero centric film. Debutant Shipan Mt gt the grand debut. He is decent in his first outing. Yes he should work on his voice modulation in future. But I want to give him benefit of doubt as DESHA is his debut film. Overall, to me, my family, my friend and singer Dilshad Nahar Kona, DESHA is highly recommended. One of the quality film comes out from the premium production house, director with powerhouse talent and actors with one of their career best performance. So go and watch DESHA and patronise Deshi film.
