Just watched the series 10 Things You didnt know about.... This particular episode was about marijuana...........Thought this was very interesting.....The U.S. government had made hemp illegal 10 years prior to WWII...then came up with this film during the war. Farmers that grew hemp for the U.S. govt would have themselves and their sons deferred from being drafted. Of course, after the war, the govt mandated that all copies of this movie be destroyed and only one copy remained in the U.S. Library of Congress....and now it is all over the internet..........now tell the truth....how many of you out there knew about this piece of American history? I sure didnt.
