Just went to the grocery to pick up a few things on my way out I noticed I didnt pay for an item that was left in the shopping cart so I put the bags in the truck and took the item that wasnt paid for back into the store the employees automatically thought I was coming back in for a refund but when I told them I forgot to pay for the item by mistake the looks on their faces said it all & that is the same exact reason why I walked back in there to pay for it in the first place because of the expectation of people expecting not expecting honesty modesty and most of all MORALS especially from a black man its sad to say that especially with all thats going on in the city from the youth and older people as well the last thing people expect is for a young man to be honest open up a door for an elderly woman of another color or etc say hello smile and say thank you when its needed especially from people of another color that do not expect those things from a black man and thats exactly why I do it to show and let people know that a lot of us no matter where we came from a hood or project environment can have morals and respect for others as well as ourselves.
