Just wondered if you guys had seen the RCA BTA-50H Ampliphase TX that Radio Caroline had on the Ross revenge in the North Sea from 83-89 broadcasting to the UK and Eurpope. We still have the ship as a museum piece. Unfortunatley in a raid of questionable legality at the time, the Dutch government had the ship raided even though it was in international waters and a lot of damage was done to this TX. I think it was usually run at around 35kW. With a salt-water ground plane it got out fairly well! A huge amount of Europe. In fact two stations were diplexed, the other TX being 10kW.
