K so last time when i said YHVH make His face shine upon thee - this has the idea of being in His presence is going to enlighten us i forgot to give you 119 Ps 135 Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; and teach me thy statutes - which is saying the same thing - getting in the face of God will allow Him to enlighten us & teach us what it is He wants us to be doing & or not doing. Also i should have brought up Jn 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. - Saying that when you are walking in Gods peace, then there is no reason to be afraid even if you are in scary circumstances. But the main thing i wanted to bring up was when i was talking about now in the NT age the name of YHVH is put upon us NT Gentile Christians. i didnt give you the scripture that prophesied about it from Am 9:12 That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by my name, saith the LORD that doeth this. - that is talking about heathen that are called by Gods name & in the NT it is brought back up in a sermon saying that it was talking about NT Gentile believers - Ac 15:14 Simeon hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name. 15 And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written, 16 After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up: 17 That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things. - Because anyone can say something like the name of God is placed upon Gentiles in the NT age but it is only an opinion if it doesnt have a scripture to back it up. Num 7:1 And it came to pass on the day that Moses had fully set up the tabernacle, and had anointed it, and sanctified it, and all the instruments thereof, both the altar and all the vessels thereof, and had anointed them, and sanctified them; 2 That the princes of Israel, heads of the house of their fathers, who were the princes of the tribes, and were over them that were numbered, offered: 3 And they brought their offering before the LORD, six covered wagons, and twelve oxen; a wagon for two of the princes, and for each one an ox: and they brought them before the tabernacle. 4 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 5 Take it of them, that they may be to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; and thou shalt give them unto the Levites, to every man according to his service. 6 And Moses took the wagons and the oxen, and gave them unto the Levites. 7 Two wagons and four oxen he gave unto the sons of Gershon, according to their service: 8 And four wagons and eight oxen he gave unto the sons of Merari, according unto their service, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest. 9 But unto the sons of Kohath he gave none: because the service of the sanctuary belonging unto them was that they should bear upon their shoulders. K so this section says that the day the set up the tabernacle; so perhaps the same day that was talked about in Ex 40:35 talking about the first time they set it up God stopped Moses from entering into the tabernacle by the glory of God - the 12 captains or princes from before in chapter 1:5 And these are the names of the men that shall stand with you: of the tribe of Reuben; Elizur the son of Shedeur. 6 Of Simeon; Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai. 7 Of Judah; Nahshon the son of Amminadab. 8 Of Issachar; Nethaneel the son of Zuar. 9 Of Zebulun; Eliab the son of Helon. 10 Of the children of Joseph: of Ephraim; Elishama the son of Ammihud: of Manasseh; Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur. 11 Of Benjamin; Abidan the son of Gideoni. 12 Of Dan; Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai. 13 Of Asher; Pagiel the son of Ocran. 14 Of Gad; Eliasaph the son of Deuel. 15 Of Naphtali; Ahira the son of Enan. 16 These were the renowned of the congregation, princes of the tribes of their fathers, heads of thousands in Israel. - brought an offering consisting of 6 covered wagons & 12 oxen; one ox for each prince & a wagon for each 2 princes. And YHVH told Moses to take it & give them to the Levites; 2 wagons & 4 oxen for the Gershonites & the rest for the Merarites - they had more because their burden was bigger i am guessing the planks & sockets & tent pegs weiged more & took up more space than the curtains. Verse 6 says Moses obeyed God & distributed the wagons to the Levites expecting Ithmar their foreman divy them out to whoever was responsible enough to be in charge of them. Verse 9 has a thought that i brought up before, but i might as well focus on it again for a bit in case any of you missed it - the Kohathites didnt get any wagons because their job was to carry the ark & all the holy things from inside the tabernacle including the altar that was right outside of it on their shoulders (using poles). The reason this thought is so important to me is because if David didnt forget this scripture & the others that talk about this same thought then Uzzah would have never died in 2 Sam 6 because the ark would never have been in a wagon in the first place so the oxen would not have been able to make it wobble so he never would have touched it to steady it. Bottom line is if neglecting such an unassuming passage can cause a physical death; then all of us need to spend more time studying the word of God so these types of situations dont happen to us because we are ignorant of some simple thing that could have saved us from trouble that could have been avoided if we had a better knowledge of the scriptures. Like i said before, this next verse is a really important one for us to be fulfilling - 119 Ps 11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. K so the next section looks like it may be part of the inspiration of that song the 12 days of Christmas, because each of the 12 princes bring another offering one after the other over a period of 12 days - we will try to get through at least a little of it as it may have to be cut in half or thirds.
