KEBBI 2015:DR. MUSA ZAGI A PRINCIPLED POLITICIAN NOT ROGUE The difference between the principled politician and rogue politician is crystal clear. Examples of how the people experienced leadership under the two categories of politicians exist in large numbers. While the rogue politician runs a cruel and oppressive government through arbitrary use of power; the principled politician is a skilled, experienced and respected political leader who provides leadership and direction by treating people with respect. Under the rulership of the former the people were subjected to severe unpleasant consequences because the leader is insensitive to their plight and is merely concerned with the brute struggle of his social superiority and relevance while the latter makes great effort to build a fairer egalitarian society by showing the better qualities of humankind such as kindness and behaving according to what is morally right and fair. The rogue politician deludes in exaggerated sense of his own importance and arrogates to himself some powers without justification while the principled politician looks after the well being of the people about whom he has the ability to understand and share their feelings and deals with their needs by being there for them always as part of his responsibility. Similarly the rogue politician behaves like a king and views the citizens as his own ‘legal’ properties who are forced to obey him while the principled politician considers himself as one who is assigned to perform duties for his people. It is also pertinent to note that the rogue politician lacks decorum and obtains everything he earns by deception and fraudulent means whereas the principled politician is honest, truthful and sincere. The rogue politician is treacherous and therefore continue to thrive in betrayal and deception as against the principled politician who is straightforward, frank and easy to understand and work with. Having listed the points in which the two are dissimilar, DR. MUSA ZAGI possessed the above mentioned qualities that is why we want him to answer our call to partake in the next coming election.
