KEEP ASKING,KEEP KNOCKING QUOTE OF THE DAY: “REJECTION IS NEVER FATAL; IT IS MERELY SOMEONE’S OPINION” Memory Verse: “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up”. Galatians 6:9. If you recall your past experiences, you will discover that there were times you encountered rejection. There were moments you received ‘no’ for an answer. Some of your school mates may not have liked you, but you made it anyway. Did you not? How have you successfully overcome an objection from a customer on a sale or the rejection of a new idea or proposal? What specific steps will you take to change the way you respond when someone says ‘no’ in the future? Many celebrities, legends, professionals, achievers and inventors that you see today have encountered several rejections and have received several ‘no’s’ in response to what they were looking for. Sometimes you have to do things you hate, to create something you love. Jesus, our perfect example experienced more rejections and betrayals than any human that had ever lived. People to whom He was sent rejected Him (John 1:11). Rather than being frustrated, He turned to some other people. Judas betrayed Him, yet, He never felt demoralized. Peter publicly disowned Him when the soldiers that arrested Jesus discovered he was one of His disciples. Sometimes you have to do things you hate, to create something you love. Jesus, our perfect example experienced more rejections and betrayals than any human that had ever lived. People to whom He was sent rejected Him (John 1:11). The initial capital with which Robert L. Johnson started his Entertainment Television station in Los Angeles did not come on a platter of gold. Johnson searched for an investor and was turned down by everyone he approached until he found John C. Malone who agreed to 180,000 dollars for 20 percent of Johnson’s network and loaned Johnson an additional 320,000 dollars. If you do not give up or get demoralized just because a few people have turned you down, someday, you will meet someone, somewhere, somehow who will say yes to your request. Move beyond your scars. It’s not everyone that will celebrate you. Everyone will not welcome your future. Climb out of your recliner. Make that telephone call again. Rewrite that letter. Someone definitely needs what you have to offer. Sooner or later you will succeed. Today, your steps shall be ordered by God to the right people. Your dream shall not be aborted. Enjoy your day! DIVINE INSTRUCTION FOR THE DAY: ASK A MAN thINKS SO IS HE, THINK RIGTH TODAY, A CHANGE WILL EMERGE. HAVE A FRUITFUL DAY PROPHETIC PRAYERS: Holy Spirit, encourage me the more to see beyond my present obstacle. Let my steps be directed to where I am needed.
